Cathy Tobin

Cathy Tobin has extensive experience in both education and agriculture. Since 2008, Cathy has served as a liaison at the Tehama County Department of Education, supporting over 100 students in an afterschool program focused on homework completion and enrichment activities. As the owner-operator of Oak Knoll Herefords in Flournoy, CA, since 1971, Cathy manages the health, feeding, irrigation, and overall maintenance of a registered Hereford cattle ranch, while also marketing bulls and heifers year-round. Cathy holds several leadership roles, including Chairman of the Red Bluff Beef N Brew and the TCCA TCCW Winter Dinner Scholarship Fundraiser, as well as serving as Secretary of the Tehama County Cattleman's Association and a past President of the Tehama County Cattlewomen's Association. Additionally, Cathy's early career as a Vet Technician at Rincon Valley Animal Hospital from 1964 to 1981 contributed to skills in livestock health management. Cathy is an alumna of Santa Rosa Junior College.
