TEI is a joint-venture company established in 1985 with the partnership agreement signed between TUSAŞ-Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. (50,5%), General Electric (46,2%) and Turkish Armed Forces Foundation and Turkish Aeronautical Association (3,3%).
