Kim Yapchai

Kim Yapchai serves as the EVP and Chief Legal Officer at Teichert, beginning in March 2024, while also holding positions on the Board of Directors for DirectWomen and the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum. Yapchai previously held a variety of leadership roles at Tenneco from 2018 to 2023, including Senior Vice President and Chief Environmental, Social & Governance Officer, where contributions focused on M&A positioning and sustainability initiatives. Earlier experience includes roles at Whirlpool Corporation and Masco Corporation, where Kim developed compliance and ethics programs. Legal experience began at Ford Motor Credit Company, providing strategic advisory services. Educational credentials include a JD from Wayne State University Law School and a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.
