Frans Verbruggen has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Frans is currently the Director of Talent Management Europe at Teijin since September 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at Teijin Aramid, including Head of Talent, Development, and Performance from October 2016 to September 2021, Head of Talent, Learning, and Shared Service Center from September 2014 to September 2016, and Manager of Management & Organizational Development from September 2008 to August 2014.
Before joining Teijin, Frans worked at AkzoNobel as the Manager of Global Leadership Development & Learning from 2000 to 2008. Frans also gained HR talent development experience at Royal Philips Electronics from 1996 to 2000.
Frans began their career as a Senior Learning & Leadership Consultant at Boertien en Partners BV from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they served as the Director/Lead Consultant at Boertien & Partners Singapore from 1990 to 1993. Frans started their professional journey in 1987 as a Program Director at MDF Training & Consultancy.
Frans Verbruggen completed their undergraduate studies in Cross Cultural & Organisational Psychology at Radboud University from 1979 to 1986. Frans also pursued executive education programs in Human Resources at Stanford Graduate School of Business and in Management Development at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 1999.
