Sanjay Phalsankar

Sanjay Phansalkar began their work experience in 2000 as a Project Manager at Priceline.com, where they managed the Java Infrastructure Group. From 2003 to 2004, they worked as an Independent Consultant at Aetna Health Plans, managing the implementation of the 'Benefit Selection and Rating' application. Sanjay then joined BearingPoint in 2004 as a Manager, where they focused on business development and managed client relationships. At BearingPoint, they also contributed to the development of IT strategy for Medical Management systems at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. In 2007, Sanjay became the Application Development Manager at Aetna, responsible for the Sales, Rating, Quoting domain. Sanjay managed an $8M annual portfolio and collaborated with the Portfolio and Business teams on annual priorities and projects. From 2010 to 2016, Sanjay worked at GE Capital as a Senior Project Manager, managing large multi-disciplinary programs and leading the integration of cash systems for the company's largest acquisition. Sanjay then joined Amazon in 2016 as a Senior Technical Program Manager and later became a Software Development Manager in the Finance Technology division. Currently, Sanjay works at Teikametrics as a Senior Principal Technical Program Manager, leading engineering teams in building the next-generation platform to support a suite of eCommerce optimization tools.

Sanjay Phansalkar earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, from 1981 to 1985. Sanjay also obtained a Master of Management Studies (MMS) degree in Marketing from SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research from 1986 to 1988. Sanjay has an additional certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
