Ajay Mishra has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2001. Ajay began their career at D. E. Shaw India Pvt. Ltd as a Member Technical. In 2004, they moved to Globallogic as a Sr Lead Technology. In 2009, they joined Penske Truck Leasing as a Senior programmer Analyst. In 2012, they were hired by hCentive, Inc. as a Manager Technical. Since 2016, they have been working at Tekizma Inc. as CPO and Chief Architect - Products.

Ajay Mishra obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Comm Engg from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati between 1997 and 2001. Ajay then pursued an MBA in Investment & Portfolio Management, Corporate Finance from Alvernia University between 2010 and 2012. In addition, they also passed CFA Level 3 as a Chartered Financial Analyst Candidate in 2010.
