Alptug Dilek

Alptug Dilek has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Alptug is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Toptal since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Tekmetric as a Senior Full Stack Developer, where they focused on developing React.js and Java applications. From 2018 to 2020, Alptug worked as a Software Engineer at Bayzat, primarily developing payroll-related features using Ember.js and React. Before that, they held various positions at TUBITAK - BILGEM / Software Technologies Research Institute, including Senior Software Engineer and Software Development Team Lead. Alptug also worked as a Software Development & Support Engineer at TUBITAK - UEKAE / G222 Unit. Alptug started their career as a Research Assistant at Bilkent University and later worked as a Software Engineer at Tom Sawyer Software. Overall, Alptug has gained expertise in full-stack development, Java, React.js, Ember.js, and microservices architecture.

Alptug Dilek completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science at Bilkent University from 2002 to 2006. Alptug then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2006 to 2009. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Sun Certified Java 6 Programmer (SCJP) certification from Sun Microsystems in January 2010. Later, they acquired the TOGAF 9 certification from The Open Group in May 2015. In June 2017, Alptug Dilek received the Nginx Setup, Configuration and Administration Certificate from NobleProg. Most recently, in December 2020, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification and the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2021.
