Håvard Angen Rye

Håvard Angen Rye's work experience includes serving as the CIO at Tekna since 2014. From 2004 to 2014, they worked as the CIO at Gyldendal Norsk Forlag AS, where they were responsible for software development and user experience. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Administration and IT Department at Norsk institutt for skog og landskap from 1999 to 2004. Håvard Angen also worked as a Rådgiver at the Ministry of Finance/Finansdepartementet from 1994 to 1999. Additionally, they have experience as a Software Developer at DATEV eG and as a Trainee at Schmidt Mortorsport GmbH.

Håvard Angen Rye has an extensive education history spanning over several years. Håvard Angen obtained a Master's Degree in Strategy, Technology, and Innovation from BI Norwegian Business School, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1992, they pursued a Cand. Mag. degree in Language, Linguistics, and Information Technology from the University of Oslo (UiO). Additionally, they completed their Diploma in Business Administration from Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) between 1985 and 1989.

In recent years, Håvard has also engaged in further education through online platforms. In 2020, they completed a course titled "Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age" offered by HarvardX. Additionally, in 2017, they participated in a course called "Design Thinking for Innovation" offered by the University of Virginia via Coursera. Although Håvard did not earn any degrees in these online courses, they provided him with valuable knowledge in the fields of cybersecurity and design thinking.
