Susan Cooper

Team Leader at Teknologisk Institut

Susan Cooper is an experienced team leader and researcher, currently serving as the Team Leader for Microanalysis and Imaging at Teknologisk Institut since September 2021. Prior to this role, Susan was a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship Postdoctoral Researcher at Københavns Universitet (University of Copenhagen) from April 2019 to August 2021, focusing on nanoscale structural changes in small inorganic nanocrystals. Susan completed a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Oregon, where research centered on the size-dependent structure and properties of spinel iron oxide nanocrystals. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Associate at Bio Architecture Lab, Metals and Wet Chemistry Analyst at Creek Environmental Laboratories, and Gas Chromatography Analyst at TestAmerica. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
