Namdar Baghaei-Yazdi

Namdar Baghaei-Yazdi has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Namdar is currently the Managing Director at Biotech Consultants Ltd, where they are responsible for developing environmentally friendly technologies to produce cost-effective commodity chemicals and fuels from organic wastes. Namdar joined the company in 2012 and is involved in the development of production processes for various chemicals.

Namdar Baghaei-Yazdi has a strong educational background in the field of biotechnology and microbiology. Namdar pursued a PhD and DIC degree from Imperial College London, specializing in biotechnology, from the years 1987 to 1991. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at King's College London, earning a BSc (Hon.) in Microbiology between 1982 and 1986.

Before attending university, Namdar obtained their A-Levels in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics from Willesden College of Technology during the period of 1980 to 1982. Namdar laid the foundation for their scientific education by completing their high school education in Experimental Sciences at Alborz High School in Tehran, Iran from 1974 to 1978, earning their High School Diploma.

Namdar Baghaei-Yazdi also holds the certification of being a Member of the Royal Society of Biology and being a Chartered Biologist, which they obtained from the Royal Institute of Biology in January 1990.
