Natasha Ell Saunders

Natasha Ell Saunders has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Natasha began their career as an Articling Student at Duncan Craig LLP in 1998. Natasha then moved on to O'Melveny & Myers LLP in 2000, where they quickly rose to the position of Lead Associate and gained extensive experience in managing public offerings and advising on corporate governance. In 2005, they joined Shearman & Sterling LLP as a Lawyer, focusing on capital markets and leading large public offerings and private placements. In 2012, Natasha joined NLO PC as a Lawyer specialized in trusts and estates. Their most recent role was at TekSavvy Solutions Inc., where they held positions of increasing responsibility, starting as Director of Commercial Agreements in 2014, then becoming VP of Legal Affairs, followed by Senior Vice President, and finally serving as Chief Legal Officer.

Natasha Ell Saunders has a diverse education history. Natasha obtained a Law Degree (Common Law - LL.B) and a Law Degree (Civil Law - B.C.L.) from McGill University in 1998. Prior to that, they earned a BA from the University of Alberta in 1993. Natasha also engaged in a 6-month exchange program at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Faculty of Law, where they studied the Language of instruction in Spanish in 1998. Additionally, they pursued studies in French at the Université de Caen Normandie from 1993 to 1994.

In terms of additional certifications, Natasha has obtained the CIPP/C privacy certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals. Natasha has also completed the French language exam for lawyers from the Office québécois de la langue française. Moreover, they have been admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1999, the Law Society of Ontario in 2012, and the State Bar of California in 2000.
