Ashenafi Gemechu

Ashenafi Gemechu is a Senior Software Engineer at Dechen Consulting Group Inc. since February 2021, previously serving as a Software Engineer at JSI | John Snow, Inc. from June 2018 to August 2019. At JSI, collaborative contributions included a cross-functional team approach using domain-driven design principles. Prior experience includes a role at MDA IT Solution from April 2016 to May 2018, where Ashenafi implemented backend services and participated in requirements analysis and design. Earlier, Ashenafi worked as a Java Application Developer at MDA IT Solutions from August 2014 to March 2016, focusing on software installation and customization. Ashenafi holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Maharishi International University and two degrees from Adama Science and Technology University: a Master’s in Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
