Dave Merris

Dave Merris has extensive experience in procurement, engineering, and military leadership. Serving as the National Procurement Manager at Tektronix since 2009, Dave also holds roles as Applications Engineer and Cost and Evaluation Team Manager since 2006 within the same organization. Prior experience includes a significant tenure in the United States Air Force from 1985 to 2017, where the role of First Sergeant involved ensuring mission readiness for enlisted personnel. Additional work history includes positions as Applications Engineer at Sypris Test and Measurement and Freescale Semiconductor, specializing in test and measurement equipment, as well as a technician at Air Products focusing on gas distribution and quality management. Dave earned a BS in Technical Operations from Embry-Riddle and an AS in Electronic/Avionics Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
