Eric Shifrut is currently a Senior Lecturer at Tel Aviv University and a Principal Investigator at Tel Aviv Medical Center. Prior to these positions, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCSF from 2016 to 2021. Eric also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2015 to 2016, where they were previously a PhD student from 2010 to 2015 and an M.Sc. student from 2007 to 2010. Before their time at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Eric worked as a Research Assistant at Sheba - Tel Ha SHomer Hospital from 2006 to 2007.
Eric Shifrut received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Life and Medical Sciences from Tel Aviv University in 2007. Eric then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Immunology at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2007 to 2010. In 2015, they completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology, also at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
