Roy Zucker

Director For Lgbtq Health Services at Tel Aviv Medical Center

Roy Zucker, MD, MSc has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Roy started their career at Beilinson - Rabin Medical Center as an Internal Medicine Specialist from April 2013 to April 2017. Roy then joined Tel Aviv Medical Center as an infectious diseases Resident from January 2018 to February 2020. In 2020, they worked as an LGBTQ Medicine Fellow at The Mount Sinai Hospital from July 2020 to July 2021. From January 2016, Dr. Zucker served as the Director for LGBTQ health services at Clalit Health Services and established the LGBTQ Medical Clinic in Tel Aviv. Roy continued their LGBTQ health services work at Clalit Health Services as the Director from August 2021. Additionally, Dr. Zucker has also been involved in LGBTQ advocacy as the Secretary of the LGBTQ+ Society and later became the Chairman of the Israeli LGBTQ+ medical society at The Israel Medical Association in March 2023. Recently, they have taken on the role of Director for LGBTQ health services at Tel Aviv Medical Center, where they are creating a multidisciplinary LGBTQ health center.

Dr. Roy Zucker received their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from Debreceni Egyetem in the years 2005 to 2011. Roy later pursued a Master's degree in Health Care Delivery Leadership from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, completing it from 2020 to 2022.
