Maya Shekel

Maya Shekel is the founder of MOOSH Studio, a Tel Aviv-based creative production company that specializes in XR experiences that seamlessly blend storytelling with technology. In addition to leading MOOSH Studio since December 2017, Maya Shekel serves as VR Product Manager at the Advanced Reality Lab (ARL) at Reichman University, overseeing commercial projects related to mental health and XR since December 2020. As an educator, Maya Shekel provides insights as a lecturer of VR Final Projects at Reichman University and teaches Design Thinking for Interactive Platforms at Tel Aviv University. Previous roles include co-directing and curating digital media exhibitions for the Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival and UTOPIA | Science, Imagination, Future, and serving as an assistant to the Vice President at Gravity Creative Space. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Media from Tel Aviv University and a Master’s in Interaction Design and Electronic Arts from the University of Sydney.
