Ran Harel

Ran Harel is a highly experienced spine surgeon currently serving as the Director of the Spine Surgery Division in the Department of Neurosurgery at Sheba - Tel Ha SHomer Hospital since August 2010, where expertise includes innovative treatments such as Spine Radiosurgery using the Brain Lab Novalis system. Additionally, Professor Ran Harel is affiliated with Tel Aviv University, holds a clinic for spine surgery and radiosurgery, and has a background in military medicine as a Captain in the Israeli military reserve. Previous roles include research involvement at Cleveland Clinic, where significant advancements in spinal cord injury models were made, and completing a spine surgery fellowship featuring extensive hands-on training. An earlier medical education was obtained at Tel-Aviv University, culminating in a degree in Medicine in 2000.
