Ronen Horowitz

Ronen Horowitz is an accomplished professional in information technology, currently serving as the CIO and Deputy Director General at Tel Aviv University since January 2023. With extensive experience in leading technology initiatives, Ronen held the position of CIO and SVP of Information Technologies at Pelephone from January 2020 to November 2022 and at yes from November 2019 to November 2022, as well as Bezeq International during the same timeframe. Previous roles include CIO at Cal from 2014 to 2016, and various significant leadership positions at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, including CIO and Executive VP of Information Technologies from 2008 to September 2014, and Head of the National Information Security Authority from 1988 to 2007. Ronen began a career in engineering with N.C.C and served in the Israeli Intelligence Corps, Unit 8200. Ronen holds a BSc in Information Management Engineering from the Technion and an MSc in Management Sciences specializing in Technology and Information from Tel Aviv University.
