George R. Verghese

George R. Verghese, MD MBA is a Pediatric Cardiologist currently practicing part-time at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and serving as Vice President of Clinical Quality at Teladoc Health. With extensive experience at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago as both Medical Director and Attending Physician in Pediatric Cardiology, Verghese has led institutional safety and quality programs. Their academic roles include Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern University and Wake Forest School of Medicine. Verghese completed a residency and fellowship at Harvard Medical School and holds an MD from Albany Medical College, as well as an MBA in Health Care Management and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Sociology from Union College.
