Andy Bookas has extensive work experience in various industries. Andy is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Telavita, a position they have held since April 2017. Before that, they co-founded and served as CEO of Torque S.A. from 2014 to 2017. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Andy worked at Barclays as a Director of Commodities Sales from September 2006 to February 2014, where they managed the European Diversified Commodities Sales Team and was responsible for identifying commodities price risks and trading commodities derivatives. Andy also developed new business areas for the bank, contributing to Barclays receiving several accolades. Andy's earlier experiences include roles in energy sales and trading at Shell Trading (STASCo) from January 2004 to September 2006, project management at confluentes e.V. from September 2002 to September 2003, and consulting at A.T. Kearney as a summer associate from May 2002 to August 2002. Andy also worked in business development at Siemens Information Systems Limited India for a brief period in 2001 and in corporate strategy at Siemens K.K. for three months in 2000. Additionally, Andy gained marketing analysis experience at Gamebookers Ltd. in 2000 and served as a webmaster and corporate hospitality personnel at ETA USA, where they were involved in event management and worked with notable clients in the racing industry such as CART, IRL, NASCAR, TRANSAM, and American LeMans series. Overall, Andy Bookas has demonstrated strong leadership abilities and a diverse skill set throughout their career.

Andy Bookas received their education from various institutions. Andy obtained their MBA/Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration, with a focus on Entrepreneurship, International Strategy, Operations, and Marketing, from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in 2003. In 2001, they participated in an exchange term at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where they studied Finance, Marketing, and Management. Andy also had exchange terms at Waseda University, studying Commerce, Finance, Strategy, and Marketing, and at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, focusing on Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Finance, both also in 2001. Prior to their postgraduate studies, Andy completed their undergraduate business degree in Business Administration at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management from 1999 to 2000. Additionally, they attended Gabelsberger Gymnasium Mainburg, although the specific years and degree obtained are unknown.
