Aleksandr Babichev

Aleksandr Babichev has over 15 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Aleksandr has held various roles in different companies, including Tele2 Kazakhstan, Tele2-Russia, Rostelecom, Tele2 Russia, Tele2-Murmansk, and Rusimport. In their most recent position as Chief Commercial Officer at Tele2 Kazakhstan, they oversaw the operations of the Commercial Function and was responsible for defining and driving the company's commercial strategy. Prior to that, they served as the Product Director at the same company, where they were in charge of the revenue part of the budget and the development of product strategies. Prior to their time at Tele2 Kazakhstan, they held roles such as Head of B2C Product at Tele2-Russia and Head of Voice and Data Services Mobile Products Division at Rostelecom. Aleksandr Babichev's expertise lies in commercial management, product development, pricing, and customer base management.

Aleksandr Babichev obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems in Economics from the Murmansk State Technical University between the years 2000 and 2005. Additionally, they pursued further education and completed a Global Executive MBA program at INSEAD between 2023 and 2025.
