Marcelo Freitas Duarte

Marcelo Freitas Duarte has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Marcelo started their career at Embratel in 1997 as an Executive Sales Manager, where they worked for over a decade. In 2009, Marcelo joined TIM and Intelig as a Relationship Executive Manager, responsible for managing relationships with telecom operators and making strategic partnerships. Marcelo served in this role until 2012, after which they took on the role of Sales & Partnership Executive Manager, focusing on sales data and voice infrastructure for other operators. In 2016, Marcelo became the Wholesale Director at TIM Brasil, a position they held for two years before joining Telecall in 2018 as the Wholesale, MVNO, and Business Development Director.

Marcelo Freitas Duarte completed an Executive MBA in Strategic and Economic Business Management at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in the academic year 2022-2023. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Telecom Management at FGV in the academic year 2001-2002. Marcelo also holds an undergraduate degree in Engineering, which they obtained from Universidade Federal do Pará between 1992 and 1996.
