Carl Ott, MSEE, PMP has had an extensive career in various roles and industries. Carl is currently the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of teleCalm, a phone service that helps seniors with dementia stay connected. In this role, they address issues such as caregiver fatigue, senior isolation, and elder fraud. Carl also serves as a Strategic Advisor for the company.

In 2015, Carl served as the Vice President of Solution Development at WHRZT! Inc, where they contributed to the development of solutions.

Carl also has experience working at RKF Engineering Solutions, LLC as a Consultant in Product R&D and Program Management. Carl worked on product research and development from January to July 2012.

From 2007 to 2011, Carl held the position of Senior Manager of New Product Development at TerreStar Networks. TerreStar was a startup that built a new handset, network, and geostationary satellite. Carl was responsible for the wholesale voice and data services offered by the company.

Before that, Carl worked at Nokia in two different divisions. At Nokia, Enterprise Solutions, they worked as a Senior Product Marketing Manager from 2002 to 2007. Carl managed go-to-market activities for various products and delivered market analysis and action plans. In Nokia's Mobile Phone R&D division, Carl served as an Engineering Group Manager and Engineer from 1997 to 2001.

Carl's early career was at Texas Instruments, Defense Systems & Electronics Group, where they worked as a Systems Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Engineer from 1985 to 1997. Carl received recognition for their contributions to quality objectives and led cross-functional architecture integration and verification projects.

Carl Ott, MSEE, PMP, completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Carl then pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, attending from 1988 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, Carl Ott also holds the certification of Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in October 2011.
