Raymond Wen

Medical Director - Primary Care Services at Telecare

Raymond Wen has a diverse work experience, with roles in various healthcare organizations and committees. Raymond currently works at Safer Care Victoria as a member of the Cardiac Outcomes Linked Data Project Working Group. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Growth Officer at Telecare. Raymond also held roles in the North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN), including serving as a member of the Clinical Council and Chair of the GP Expert Advisory Group. Additionally, they worked as a General Practitioner at East Brunswick Medical Centre. Raymond has also been involved in projects and committees, such as being a member of the Parkville Precinct e-Referral Business Case Project Control Group and serving on the Victorian New Fellows Committee and Practice Owners National Conference Advisory Group at The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Raymond was also part of the RACGP Future Leaders Program in 2019. In the past, they were a member of the Health Care Homes Leaders Group at NWMPHN. Raymond served as a panel member for MCCC PALS Panel and gained experience as a GPT 3 / 4 Registrar at Kings Park Medical Centre. Raymond also worked as a Locum at the National Home Doctor Service.

Raymond Wen completed their undergraduate education at the University of Melbourne from 2006 to 2011. Raymond obtained a degree in Medicine, with Honors, as well as a Bachelor of Medical Science, focusing on Medical Research.

In 2021 and 2022, Raymond pursued further education at the University of Tasmania, completing a Graduate Certificate in Health Service Management (Safety and Quality), specifically in the field of Clinical Governance.

Prior to their university studies, Raymond attended Camberwell Grammar School from 2000 to 2005, obtaining a Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE).

Raymond has also obtained additional certifications throughout their career. In December 2017, they earned a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney. Additionally, in February 2017, they attained the qualification of FRACGP from The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). In July 2015, Raymond obtained the certification of DRANZCOG from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).
