Elias de Matos Brito

Elias de Matos Brito is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in financial management and corporate governance. Since July 2015, Elias has served as a member and currently as the president of the Board of Directors at USIMINAS. Additionally, Elias holds multiple positions in various organizations, including member of the Board of Directors at Companhia de Participações Aliança da Bahia and advisory roles at Grupo Dislub Equador. As of April 2024, Elias is the president of the Fiscal Council at Gafisa and has held prominent roles in the fiscal councils of several companies, including PetroRio and TIM. Education credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Faculdade Morais Júnior and an MBA in Finance and Controllership from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
