Amanda Hauuanga

Deputy Board Chairperson at Telecom Namibia Limited

Amanda Hauuanga is currently the Deputy Board Chairperson at Telecom Namibia Limited. Prior to this, they were the Head of Marketing and Customer Care for the Consumer Services Business Unit at Telecom Namibia from January 2000 to December 2004. In this role, Amanda was responsible for managing the Marketing and Customer Care Centre, aligning the Business Unit with strategic business objectives, supervising the analysis of the market and developments in similar markets, coordinating the development and introduction of new products and services, and managing the department in terms of HR functions.

In October 2020, Amanda took on the role of Namibian Head Coach For 48 SME Students at Future Females Business School. In this role, Amanda coached 48 students on how to start and grow their own small businesses.

From January 2013 to December 2016, Amanda was the Managing Owner of Veda Creations, a small business that specialized in event planning and decoration. As Managing Owner, Amanda was responsible for all aspects of the business, from marketing and sales to event planning and execution.

Amanda is a highly experienced business professional with a passion for helping others grow their businesses. Amanda is a skilled leader and motivator, with a proven track record of success in both coaching and small business ownership.

Amanda Hauuanga has completed an Executive Leadership Programme at Stellenbosch Business School, a Bible Leadership Certificate at ENLI Bible School, and a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services also at Stellenbosch Business School. Amanda also holds Hons (Business Administration) and Hons (Industrial Psychology) degrees from Stellenbosch Business School and the University of the Western Cape respectively. Her undergraduate degree is a B. Comm in Marketing and Industrial Psychology majors from the University of the Western Cape. Amanda has also completed Grade 12 at Concordia College.
