Laban Hiwilepo

Laban Hiwilepo serves as the Chief Technical and Information Officer (CTIO) at Telecom Namibia, a position held since May 2014, with responsibilities encompassing service assurance, fulfillment, operations, engineering, planning, implementation, and project management across the company's network and IT systems. Prior roles at Telecom Namibia include Head of Design, Engineering, Planning and Implementation, General Manager of Network Provisioning and Assurance, and Senior Manager of Strategic Planning. Laban began the professional career as a True Test Engineer at Nokia in 2000. Laban holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town, an MSc in Communications Technology from Ulm University, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
