John Greene

Director at Telecommunications Industry Association

John Greene has been working in the telecommunications industry for over 20 years. John started their career as a board member of the QuEST Forum, where they were responsible for setting the goals and direction for TL 9000 certification for telecommunications service providers, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers. John then moved on to Great Plains Communications, Inc. as their Chief Engineer, where they provided the overall strategic vision for the Great Plains Communications network. In 2008, they became the CEO of New Lisbon Holdings, Inc., and in 2013 they became the Chairman of the Board of Directors for TelPac Indiana. John is currently the Director at Telecommunications Industry Association.

John Greene's educational career includes a BA from North Central College in General Science, a Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University in Information Networking, and a High School Diploma from Morristown Hamblen High School East. John has no formal education in Oceanography, but they attended the United States Naval Academy.
