Miguel O. Mercado is an experienced professional in the fields of game design and operations research, currently serving as an Operations Research Analyst at Teledyne Controls since November 2022. Previous roles include Assembly Lead and Mechanical Assembler, showcasing a strong foundation in technical and operational tasks. Miguel held the position of Art Director & Lead Artist at NoirPunk, where high-quality 3D environments and assets were developed for gaming, and served as Creative Director at ForzeBreak, leading the conceptualization and production of original game projects. Additionally, Miguel has experience as an instructor at iD Tech Camps, teaching programming and 3D modeling, and contributed to the game development industry as a 3D Artist at Skyshot. Academically, Miguel holds a Master’s in Games and Playable Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz, along with a Bachelor’s and an Associate’s degree in Game and Interactive Media Design and Animation, respectively.
