Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a robust background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technology. Since July 2010, Chris has been employed at SMART Technologies, initially as a Firmware Engineer and currently as an Electrical Engineer, focusing on hardware development for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior to this, Chris served as an Electronics Contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation and gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary. In earlier roles at Grindcom, Chris contributed to control system development for the forestry industry. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
