Sheri Sourbeck

Director, Groundlink Products at Teledyne Controls

Sheri Sourbeck, PMP has extensive work experience in the aviation industry, with a focus on ground-based aircraft maintenance systems. Sheri began their career at Control Data Corporation as an R&D Engineer, where they developed diagnostic expert systems and process planning systems for circuit card assembly. Sheri then worked at Ceridian / Computing Devices International, where they served as a Sr. Software Engineer and later as a Software Systems Engineer, responsible for designing and developing external system interfaces for the Airline Maintenance and Operations System (AMOSS).

Following their time at Ceridian, Sheri joined Spirent Systems / Penny & Giles, Aviation Information Systems as a Project Manager. In this role, they led the redesign of a ground-based maintenance application for FedEx and the design and development of a software data distribution system for Qantas Airlines. Sheri also co-led the development of a paperless fault reporting application for pilots of commercial aircraft.

Prior to their current role at Teledyne Controls, Sheri held various positions at the company, including Software Project Lead and Program Manager. As the Software Project Lead, they led the development of software for airborne server products and cockpit access terminals, achieving FAA STC approval for the server software. As a Program Manager, their responsibilities included successfully implementing the Teledyne Wireless GroundLink system for aircraft operators.

Currently, Sheri holds the position of Director, GroundLink Products at Teledyne Controls. In this role, they are responsible for the Teledyne GroundLink product line, overseeing Wireless Quick Access Recorders (WQARs) and a Wireless Access Point (WAP) approved for cockpit use. Sheri also manages a team of program managers who ensure the successful implementation of Teledyne GroundLink Solutions with aircraft operators worldwide.

Sheri Sourbeck, PMP holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. Sheri further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Engineering from the University of St. Thomas. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2013.
