Katherine Lawrie

Katherine Lawrie has extensive experience in the space imaging sector, currently serving as Product Verification & Test Manager at Teledyne e2v since June 2014. In this role, Katherine oversees multiple engineering groups, ensuring effective product verification and test processes. Previous positions include Product Development Manager, where Katherine was the Product Lead for astronomy and large area CCD products, and Project Lead Engineer, providing technical leadership throughout project lifecycles. Katherine has also held roles such as Head of Bid Management and Sensor Technical Lead. Earlier experience includes research assistance at the University of Leicester, contributing to data analysis and project proposals, and mentoring at the United Space School. Katherine's academic background includes a PhD in Physics from the University of Leicester and a Master's in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Nottingham, complemented by a summer course in Space Science at Umeå University.
