Collin Twanow is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and engineering, particularly in the fields of MEMS and microfabrication. Currently the Director of Technology at Teledyne MEMS since January 2012, Collin develops and executes the company's technical strategy, deploying existing fabrication technology for new applications. Previous roles include Vice President of Engineering, Sales & Business Development at Micralyne, where Collin led the Development Engineering group and crafted sales strategies. Collin has also contributed as a consultant and coordinated the Micro Nano Teaching Facility at the University of Alberta's Electrical & Computer Engineering Department. With a strong background that includes positions as Research & Development Director at Micralyne and Thin Film Engineer at ThermicEdge Corp and Westaim, Collin has overseen various innovative projects and teams throughout a career beginning in 1993. Collin holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics, both from the University of Alberta.
