Sergio L. dos Santos e Lucato

Sergio L. dos Santos e Lucato has extensive experience in materials science, particularly in the aerospace and oil and gas sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Structural Materials at Teledyne Scientific & Imaging since 2005, Sergio oversees a team focused on extreme environment materials and engages with both commercial and government clients. Prior roles include Senior Research Scientist at Teledyne, managing testing laboratories and consulting on materials for ultra-deepwater applications, and Research Scientist, performing multi-physics simulations and developing high-temperature ceramic composite systems. Previous positions include Senior Researcher at UC Santa Barbara, Research Assistant at Darmstadt University of Technology, and Visiting Researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by a decade in IT at Hochtief. Sergio holds both a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Materials Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
