Edwin Roks has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the technology industry. Edwin is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Vice President and Segment President Digital Imaging at Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. Edwin also held the positions of Vice President and Segment President Digital Imaging, Vice President and President of Teledyne DALSA, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Teledyne DALSA, and Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. Before joining Teledyne, Edwin worked at Philips, where they held the roles of Chief Technology Officer at Philips Polymer Vision, Director of Research & Development at Philips Semiconductors Business Line Imaging, and Project Manager at Philips Research. Edwin also worked as a Researcher and Member of the Scientific Staff at the Philips Research Microcircuits Group. Edwin started their career at the Royal Military Academy as an ROAG Officer during their military service.
Edwin Roks holds a PhD in Electronics and Semiconductor Physics from the University of Twente, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. Prior to their PhD, they pursued their Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from HBO University between 1981 and 1985.
