Michael Ramsey

Michael Ramsey is an experienced Principal R&D Engineer with a robust background in medical device development and manufacturing. Currently at Teleflex since January 2011, Michael specializes in structural analysis and test systems within the surgical sector, focusing on optimizing designs and conducting failure analyses for new and existing products. Prior to this role, Michael contributed to CareFusion for nearly two decades, leading the design of innovative medical devices, including a patented priming cap for chemotherapy safety. Earlier career experience includes a position as Manufacturing Engineer at Vermont American Corp., where equipment design and maintenance supervision were key responsibilities. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Appalachian State University.
