Adriano Adrianza Portillo has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Adriano began their career at Bluenet Comunicaciones as a Senior Commercial Representative where they represented product specifications to suppliers, buyers, and customers. Adriano later worked at Banesco Banco Universal as part of their Internship Program.
In 2011, Adriano founded their own technology company called Digital Menu, focused on innovation in technology for the food and beverage industry. Adriano served as the CEO and Founder, overseeing the development of unique algorithm and integration solutions to address common industry problems.
Adriano then joined DIRECTV as a Product Marketing Specialist, responsible for marketing activities in the DTH TV category. Adriano successfully attracted new customers and maintained subscriber loyalty, achieving the company's profitability goals. Adriano also led the Profitability Project in 2015 to increase revenues through the company's contact center.
Moving on to Telefonica, Adriano held several positions including IoT Go-to-Market Europe Manager, where they focused on business development and product expertise in IoT verticals. Adriano later became part of the Business Transformation & Planning team, leading global transformation initiatives and providing recommendations to C-suite executives.
In 2018, Adriano transitioned to the People Initiatives & Change Agent Lead role, addressing matters concerning the Chief Commercial Digital Officer and driving cultural changes within Telefonica Digital. Adriano then worked as the Strategic Projects & Global Innovation Office Business Manager, supporting the CIO in implementing the Global Innovation Office agenda and leading strategic projects.
Adriano'smost recent position was at Telefonica Tech, where they served as the Global Head of IoT Partners Program. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing a global IoT partners program, building and managing a team, and driving growth and alliance strategies.
Throughout their career, Adriano has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in business development, strategy, innovation, and transformation.
Adriano Adrianza Portillo completed their Master in Management degree with a focus on Digital Business at IE Business School in 2015-2016. Prior to that, they earned an Engineer's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello between 2008 and 2013. In 2007-2008, they attended Indiana University Bloomington for an Intensive English Program in ESL. Adriano also obtained several certifications, including "Meeting the Challenge of Digital Transformation" and "Project Management Simplified" from LinkedIn in 2016.
