María Marín Lanza

María Marín Lanza has a strong background in project management and sales operations, with a focus on IoT and telecommunications. María has worked at various companies, including Telefónica Tech, where they held the position of Global Head of Sales Operations IoT Partners, responsible for managing the sales operations and legal aspects of the IoT Partners program. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Commercial Governance IoT Partners Programme at Telefónica Tech, where they analyzed deals, created P&Ls, and generated product reports using BI tools. Before joining Telefónica Tech, María worked as a Global IoT Product Manager at Telefonica Digital, where they developed and marketed industry solutions. María also worked as a Transition and Transformation Project Manager at T-Systems Iberia, leading IT transformation projects. María Marín Lanza started their career at Telvent Outsourcing, where they worked as a Project Manager, and later worked at Iberdrola as a Project Manager, specializing in energy power plant telecommunication systems. Their early career involved working as an IP Network Specialist at DREWAG Gmbh, focusing on powerline networks and customer support.

María Marín Lanza completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from EAE Business School from 2014 to 2016. María also holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering with a specialization in Telematics from Universidad de Cantabria and a degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Communications Technology from Technische Universität Dresden. In addition, María has obtained a certification in Data Science and Big Data Analytics: Making Data-Driven Decisions from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2020.
