Vicente Segura

Vicente Segura has a range of experience in the field of security, with a focus on IoT and end-to-end value proposition. Vicente has held various positions at Telefónica, including Head of OT&IoT Security since 2019. Prior to that, they served as Head of IoT Security, Head of Identity and Access Management, Head of B2C Security Strategy and Strategic Products, and Security Product Manager. Vicente has also worked as a Technology Specialist, R&D Engineer, and had a scholarship in information security.

Vicente Segura obtained an Ingeniero Superior de Telecomunicación degree in Telecommunications from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) between 1996 and 2000. In 2005, they became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2. Vicente pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. from 2007 to 2015. Additionally, in 2006 they specialized in interest rates, exchange rates, and derivative financial assets from the same university. Vicente completed a marketing course for Product Managers at ESIC Business & Marketing School in 2012. Vicente also holds several additional certifications, including The Cybersecurity x SaaS Bootcamp from Maven, OT Sales Certificate from Fortinet, An introduction to marketing from Coursera, and Gamification, also from Coursera.
