Edward Mugala

Edward Mugala is an experienced RAN Engineer with a career spanning over a decade in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving at Telekom Networks Malawi Limited since May 2021, Edward has focused on Nokia LTE radio access network management, including configuration, maintenance, performance monitoring, and core network configurations. Prior roles include RAN Engineer positions at Afrimax Malawi and Tagtel, where Edward specialized in LTE and 3G installations, integration, and network design. Edward began the career at Celtel/Zain as a BSS Engineer, gaining expertise in microwave systems, transmission troubleshooting, and Radio Base Transceiver Stations maintenance. Additionally, experience includes working at Ericsson Congo with responsibilities in installation and maintenance of RBS and transmission systems.
