James Chiyembekeza has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. james started their career in 2009 as a Broadcast Engineer at FM 101 Power (Radio Station) Malawi. james then worked as a Technical Manager at Kameko Technologies Ltd from May 2009 to October 2011. james also held the same role at Kameko from May 2009 to July 2011. In November 2011, James joined Afro-Egypt Engineering Company Ltd as a Team Leader in Telecommunications. Currently, they are working for Telekom Networks Malawi Limited as a Radio Access Network (RAN) Engineer, starting from December 2018.
James Chiyembekeza completed their education at the Institute of Technology and Management from 2005 to 2008. james obtained an Advanced Diploma in Telecommunication Systems. Prior to that, they attended William Murray from 2000 to 2003, where they achieved a GSCE degree.

Listed on the Malawi stock exchange, it was established in 1995 as a joint venture between Telekom Malaysia and the then government owned Malawi Telecommunications Limited (MTL), In April 2007 Telekom Malaysia sold its 60% majority stake in TNM.
