Rizal Akbar

Rizal Akbar is a seasoned professional in information technology and strategic planning, currently serving as Vice President of Data Protection at Telkom Indonesia since August 2021. Previously held the position of Vice President of Network/IT Strategy, Technology & Architecture at Telekomunikasi Indonesia from January 2018 to August 2021, and served as Vice President of IT Strategy & Governance prior to that. Rizal's extensive experience includes roles such as Assistant Vice President of IT Strategic Planning at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk., and Senior Officer in Information Architecture and IT Service Portfolio Management. Rizal holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Telkom University and has completed a Doctor’s Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Institut Teknologi Bandung, along with graduate studies in Business Administration.
