Crystal Ayala

Crystal Ayala is a seasoned news professional with extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as a News Anchor and Investigative Reporter at Telemundo Houston since February 2015. Prior roles include Reporter and Fill-in Anchor at Univision 45, as well as News Anchor and Reporter at Univision-KUVN Dallas. Crystal has also worked as a TV Host and Reporter at WIPR-TV, and served as a San Juan News Correspondent for NTN24. Further experience includes roles as a Broadcast News Reporter, Fill-in Anchor, Producer at Entravision Communications, Associate Producer at Univision Communications, and Assignment Desk Editor at Telefutura. Crystal began a career in journalism at WKAQ as an Associate Producer. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Investigative Journalism from Florida International University and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Puerto Rico.
