Juan Carlos Ramirez

Juan Carlos Ramirez is an experienced photojournalist and editor with over a decade in the industry, currently working at Telemundo Houston (KTMD) since April 2017. Ramirez has reported on significant events such as hurricane flooding and the Astros' championship parade, showcasing a strong technical skill set. Previous roles at Univision Houston and Univision San Antonio involved live coverage of major stories and conducting interviews in Spanish. Ramirez started in television with WOAI-TV and KCEN 6 News, honing storytelling abilities and time management under tight deadlines. Early career experiences at FOX26 & CW59 and ABC INC KFSN-TV included shooting quality stories independently and shadowing top professionals.
