Ahsan Habib

Ahsan Habib's work experience includes various roles in engineering and management positions. Ahsan has recently served as the VP of Engineering at Telenav, where they played a key role in launching state-of-the-art navigation systems and building cloud-first infotainment systems. Ahsan also led engineering teams and successfully launched connected navigation systems with General Motors in multiple global markets. Prior to their current role, Ahsan held positions such as Senior Director of Engineering and Director of Engineering at Telenav. Ahsan has also co-founded MobBazaar, Inc and served as the CTO and Founder of Sigmastream Networks, Inc. Ahsan has a background in research and has worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on P2P streaming systems and media security. Additionally, they have gained experience through internships at Sun Microsystems and IBM.

Ahsan Habib completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology from 1991 to 1996. Ahsan then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Virginia Tech from 1997 to 1999. Afterwards, Ahsan attended Purdue University where they obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from 1999 to 2003. Recently, in 2018 and 2019, they also participated in a Nano Degree Program in Self Driving Car Engineering at Udacity.
