Kim Smets has a diverse work experience in the technology and telecom industry. Kim began their career as a Business Analyst at Telenet in 2005 and later moved up to the role of Senior Product Manager. Kim then became the Director of Product Management, leading a team responsible for product strategy and development. In 2016, Kim transitioned to become the Director of Market & Consumer Insights at Telenet. Kim played a crucial role in driving the data transformation at the company as the VP of Data & Analytics. Currently, Kim holds the position of Vice President Data & AI, where they focus on implementing a customer-centric data strategy and utilizing AI to personalize customer interactions and improve decision-making. In addition to their roles at Telenet, Kim also served as a Startup mentor at Telenet Idealabs, a vertical accelerator, and started their career as a Data Scientist at Cegeka.
