Andreas Østberg has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Andreas served as the Chief Operating Officer at Telenor Linx, where they focused on combining traditional telecom with software flexibility to enable people, telcos, and digital players to embrace global connectivity and digitalization opportunities. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Telenor Digital, a software company specializing in solutions that modernize the telecommunications industry. Andreas also held the position of VP Head of Performance Management at Telenor, where they led a team responsible for performance management of Telenor Group's commercial agenda and managed business controlling and financial operations of Telenor Digital AS. During their time at Telenor, they also served as the VP of Digital Businesses and Chief Financial Officer for Telenor Digital Businesses, which involved managing Telenor's investments in the digital business space and building strong positions within a selection of verticals. Before joining Telenor, Østberg worked as a Senior Manager at PwC Norway. Andreas also gained valuable experience at Marine Harvest Group, where they served as a Business Controller, Business Area Controller for Marine Harvest Raw Materials and Trade, and Credit Manager and Project Controller. Østberg started their career as a Credit Risk Analyst at Statoil and had a brief period of self-employment as a Consultant.
Andreas Østberg obtained their MSc degree in Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they also completed the Telenor Strategy Execution Online Programme at INSEAD, in December 2016.
