Jan-Helge Kvilstad

Jan-Helge Kvilstad has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on roaming and international wholesale business. Jan-Helge started their career in 1999 at Telenor Mobil AS, where they served as a Process Advisor and later became the Interconnect Manager and International Roaming Manager.

In 2004, they joined Telenor Norway AS as a Service Manager and worked there until 2015. During this time, they gained valuable experience in managing services and customer relations.

In 2015, Kvilstad moved to Telenor Linx, where they held various roles. Jan-Helge started as the Head of Product Development - Roaming, responsible for enabling inbound and outbound international roaming on new technologies for Telenor's business units. Jan-Helge also investigated and assessed technical solutions supporting the international roaming wholesale business.

After that, they took on the position of Head of Roll out Scandinavia, Implementation & Quality, overseeing the total lifecycle management of international roaming relations for Telenor Denmark, Telenor Norway, and Telenor Sweden. Jan-Helge established and operated the Telenor Roaming Centre and ensured the timely implementation of new roaming technologies.

From 2020 to 2021, Kvilstad served as the Head of Global Roaming Roll-out, responsible for coordinating the transformation of roaming services rollout from a regional to a global function.

In 2021, they transitioned to the role of Strategic Partnership Manager, where they managed strategic partnerships and collaborations with external entities.

Currently, Kvilstad holds the position of Head of Roaming Delivery at Telenor Linx, where they oversee the delivery of roaming services.

Jan-Helge Kvilstad obtained their Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a focus on Production Technology - Mechanical from Narvik University College (HiN) in the years 1991 to 1994. Jan-Helge then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1994 to 1996. In 2017, Jan-Helge Kvilstad attended the Telenor Online Strategy Execution Programme at INSEAD, although it is unspecified whether they received a degree from this program.
