Mainul Islam is a seasoned finance executive with over 20 years of experience in the telecom industry, currently serving as the Director of Group Accounting and Reporting at Telenor. They have a strong focus on sustainability reporting and compliance, successfully managing financial processes and implementing CSRD requirements throughout the organization. Previously, Mainul held various roles at Telenor, including Accounting Manager and Director of Group Accounting, contributing to the enhancement of automation projects and collaboration across departments. They hold a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Dhaka and are a Chartered Accountant, having developed expertise in ESG frameworks through specialized training.
