Richard Hirst

Richard Hirst has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Richard started their career as a Software Engineer at Pi Technology in 1998 and worked there until 2000. Richard then joined NPSL as an Enterprise Consultant from 2000 to 2002. Richard joined Play.com in 2002 and held various positions including Software Developer, Development Manager, and finally Software Consultant until 2013. Richard then worked as a Solutions Architect at Rakuten Ichiba UK Ltd from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Richard is a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer at Telensa since May 2017.

Richard Hirst completed their Bachelor of Science in Economics degree with a specialization in Sociology, Philosophy, and Politics at Aberystwyth University from 1980 to 1983. Richard later pursued further education at the University of Cambridge (Homerton College), completing their Postgraduate Certificate in Education (P.G.C.E.) with a focus on Mathematics from 1994 to 1996.
